What this surface shows
Source-native observation
Corrected reflectance combines visible channels to approximate daylight human vision. Cloud, snow, bright ground, orbital seams, and missing passes remain part of the evidence. A static NASA Blue Marble baseline appears only when the selected daily image cannot be decoded, and is labeled as timeless rather than current.
Global context, no private marker
This public surface contains no station marker, property boundary, Observatory coordinates, camera frame, or raw archive material. Cartographer reads global public providers; the project archive remains the reviewed evidence backbone for local layers elsewhere in the project.
